So, above here is a picture of the 3-3-2 method of dropping meteors: in the center circles of the arena you make 2 groups of 3 people, and 1 group of 2 people. the above video uses this method, starts at 3:10 Now once you're in a group, you have designated spots of where you drop your meteors and in what order. The first meteor is dropped in the empty space to the left of the stick prong that comes out of your circle, and then you just keep placing them in the next spot clockwise. Each time you place a meteor, run back to the group to be in range for AOE heals, unless you get 2x in a row, then just continue placing. if you're group is unlucky and gets 5+ meteors, then some improvising will have to be done.
REGARDING IF 5+ METEORS FROM A SINGLE GROUP - if your group does get 5+ meteors, the next safest spot to drop for your 5th meteor would be adjacent groups #4 spot - this is cause there are only 8 meteors so if 1 group has 5, then its impossible for the other groups to get 4, so their #4 spot will be empty, and will be the left spot from the first meteor your group dropped
Picking Up and Dealing with Golems
we have found that the golems are quick to fuse with each other. We tried increasing the distance we dropped them from one another but that just made it more difficult for the designated people to quickly locate, target and acquire aggro, before they go smoshing together.
we found that the best solution was to keep the golem drop points at the outer edge of the inner 3 circles of the arena, and have the "tanks" of the golems already in position in the dead center of the arena before the golems even appear, and then jump on them immediately with high bust of threat.
We decided the kill order being Attack RED first, and then kill it AFTER it changes color so that we kill either a green or blue. Then, we kill either Green or Blue, depending and whats left alive Finally, we kill off red for reals this time.
Save fluid aura to interrupt Demolish.
At the same time we try to have it so that no golems eat any meteors unless its the golem we are set on killing at the time. So that we don't have any buffed up golems shooting at our face while preoccupied with other things. But as soon as we start killing the golems, feed the meteors quickly.
Videos to help identify visual cues on when to move. 1st HF occurs around 5 minutes 2nd around 6 minutes 3rd around 7 minutes Whm Pov Sch Pov Warrior1 Pov Warrior2 Pov
My Visual Cues so i know when to move out of the stacked positon: For First HF - look at the meteor markers above your party members, when they disappear you move out. - when the 4th AOE appears is around the time the markers disappear, so move out then
For Second and Third HF - when the initial yellow AOE disappears, move out from the stacked group. - the boss has an animation for when he shoots out the gravity wells, where he pumps his one arm and sticks it out like hes shooting a 1 handed kamehamea wave. When he pumps his arm the second time move out of the stacked group. -when the first gravity well lands on top of us, we can stand inside it for half a second. After that half a second move out of the stacked position.
ALSO IMPORTANT = SPRINTING IS DANGEROUS. If you have sprint and a meteor marker is on you, even if you move at the right moments, you will do damage as if you had left too early. -If you must sprint be aware if you have a meteor marker on you, and control your positioning so it doesn't harm the group -if you don't have a meteor mark sprint all you want idgaf
First Heavens Fall
The Movement of the Dance
Dance Steps 1# After we get pushed back immediately run to the center area 2# Wait a bit until you can determine which way the AOEs are rotating, then move along with it 3# LOOK AT THE METEOR MARKERS ABOVE OUR HEADS, when they disappear, we bolt outwards Also, despite what the picture looks like, we DO NOT actually run into the AOEs, Zgen
The Idea behind the Dance
1# The reason why we move to the center early, is so that the radius is small enough of a distance that we can easily position ourselves to avoid the rotating AOES 2# As long as your in the center area, and don't move out until the meteor markers disappear, idgaf where you are located exactly. The idea and benefits of stacking in the rotating group are: - it gives a target area where everyone can group for heals - with everyone together, it is easy to see where all the meteor markers on people, so its easy to see when they disappear. 3# As soon as the meteor markers disappear, Run out or die from meteors, Zgen
Second Heavens Fall
The Movement of the Dance
Dance Steps to situation 1: The first AOE is not right on top us us
1# Stack together and wait, take this time to count 2 AOEs over to the left and aim there, because that is are future target area to move to 2# Waiting for the meteor markers to disappear is not a good visual cue to leave anymore, because he is going to be tossing purple gravity wells before that. A good cue to start moving is when the initial yellow AOEs vanish, so the exact moment when you are allowed to walk to the next space over, you move to the target spot. 3# When you are at the target spot, keep running outwards just in case the meteors were placed too close.
Dance Steps to Situation 2: The first AOE is on top of us 1# MOVE OUT OF THE GOD DAM WAY, don't stack inside an AOE, Zgen -Everyone should move LEFT together, for the sole reason only being that I said so, because unity is cool. -Thats the only difference, then do the same things as situation 1, aim 2 AOEs over yada yada 2# Same deal 3# Same deal
The Idea behind the Dance
1# Dont stand in AOES, and stack together and wait to bide time for the meteors to drop. Aim at the target area so you have a plan of motion and don't feel like a chicken with your head cut off, Zgen. -If you forgot to "Aim" when the 2 initial AOEs were up, then just run over 2 "Safe" spots when we have to move. 2# We cant have meteors being places too far to the left where we are running, wait for a visual cue to start moving, and then move to the target spot - if the purple gravity well scares you, its probably safe to move down along the safe spot we are initially stacked on, then go to aimed target area. 3# Once at the aimed target area, move upwards. This is a contingency plan in case someone fucked up, otherwise the target area is normally a safe place to be.
*Also for a side note, in a Situation 2 scenario, if you move right to safety, instead of LEFT like you're supposed to because i said so: -Don't switch over, you made your bed and now you have to lie in it, just do everything the same as normal except move to the right ie, your aimed target spot is 2 AOEs to the right. -You'll be by yourself and might not be in range of heals but you probably wont take too much damage if you do it right.
Third Heaven's Fall
The Movement of the Dance
Dance Steps 1#After being pushed back, immediately move to the center area 2# No matter the situation, we move as a group to the CLOSEST SAFE SPOT, the safe spot being the inside corner area of the cone and we wait. DON'T stack in an AOE, Zgen 3# Use the same visual cue as the 2nd Heavens Fall to know when to move out, and then move in a way so that you go up and around the perimeter of the safe zone.
The Idea behind the Dance
1# We start by going immediately to the center, this is to avoid instant death from a situation 2. Stay close together when we move to the center. 2# If we stayed together everyone's "closest spot" should be the same spot, and then we wait and bait the meteors close to the center so we have enough space to move around. 3# Move around the perimeter of the safe zone, cause if someone moves a meteor too early, and moves it straight across the center of the safe zone, then there is no safe zone.
Here's the organization of where people will be placed during lunar dynamo. We will have a tank with the exploding raven's beak, and 2 people with thunder while lunar dynamo is going on. the tank who has RB on him will go behind the boss, while the two people who get thunder will go left and and right of the boss.
For the second method if we chose to do it, the tank, after getting hit by fire, goes further behind the boss and suffers a lunar dynamo hit just to give more space to move around. The healers will definitely have to shield this tank.
To figure out which person goes left and who goes right, i was thinking we have a person call out the names of the people with the thunder debuff, and whoever gets their name called first goes left, and the other name then goes right. or something like that
Also btw, every single fire, is a fire in, except the fire that happens with an iron chariot at the same time, that one is a fire out, which is easy to know, since the iron chariot makes us spread out anyway.
When we spread out from the iron chariot, same thing from normal mode where you wait for 2 gravity wells then run to the center to stack for thermionic beam. The only difference is that its also going to give someone a meteor at the same time, but it should be fine as long as its drops on the outside area of the arena, which everyone should already be, because we are spread out.
Dive bombs come after that which are also the same as normal except a lot more dive bomb patterns, and one person will get a meteor as well. Again drop meteors on the outside area of the arena while dodging dive bombs.
how to handle lightning/lunar this is how to do the lunar dynamo when you have lightning like a pro! lunar dynamos occur at 7:45 and at 9:35 What this guy does is he stands in the safe zone while watching the lunar dynamo cast bar. As soon as the cast bar finishes, he runs out into where he would normally get hit by lunar dynamo. As long as he was inside a safe area when the cast bar finishes, the attack wont hurt him when he runs out. So by running out when he does, he gives a lot more space to everyone else cramped in that area. This tactic can be used by everybody, even the people still grouped up in front of the boss, if they feel like the people with thunder are too close for comfort. Better safe than sorry.
